Anthony "Coach Jerry" Jeremiah

Head Coach

Been there, won that, coached the rest!
For over 40 years, Coach Jerry has been breathing, eating, and sleeping tennis. From excelling on the courts as a junior and senior player including a near miss with the Davis Cup!, to molding future champions as a coach, his passion for the game is infectious.
More than just backhands and volleys!
Coach Jerry has coached at all levels, from beginners to top players, and has a reputation for turning raw talent into polished players. His coaching philosophy is simple: hard work, dedication, and a love for the game.
Been around the block and the court!
Coach Jerry's experience is as vast as his backhand. He's held leadership positions in the, ITF and Tennis Association of Trinidad and Tobago, then developed tennis programs across the Caribbean islands!

Ronald Robinson

Coach Ronald has 11 years of experience at the Agricultural Development Bank, specializing in Human Resources and Finance. With six years of coaching experience, he led the U12 Boys to victory in the 2023 SR4 Competition and a third-place finish in the COTECC Competition. Ronald is an active member of the Tournament Committee for the East Club Classifieds and Inter-Club Tournaments. Currently, he is Treasurer and Senior Coach at Anglez Tennis Academy and is ITF/TATT Certified, underscoring his commitment to excellence in tennis coaching and administration.

Leandro Sanchez

Coach Sanchez, born and raised in Venezuela, has lived in Trinidad and Tobago since 2013. He started playing tennis at 17. As a coach, he is dedicated to helping players of all levels reach their potential, staying current with the latest techniques and strategies. He is U.S. Centre for Safesport certified, specializing in biomechanics applied to tennis and innovation in footwork. Coach Sanchez says, “Whether you are a beginner or an experienced player, I am here to help you achieve your goals.”

Kern Caesar

Coach Kern is a dedicated Football and Tennis Coach with Step By Step Football Academy and Angelz Tennis Academy. He has coached at St Agnes Anglican Primary School and Victory Christian Academy in the U.S. Kern earned a football scholarship at 13, representing Trinidad and Tobago from 2004 to 2009. He played for the U17 national team in the CFU tournament and a World Cup in South Korea, and was part of the senior national Futsal team in Guatemala. His professional football career includes stints in Trinidad and Antigua. Currently, he coaches tennis at Angelz Tennis Academy, continuing his passion for sports and mentoring athletes.

Daniel Rivero

Coach Daniel is an active, fun, and entertaining individual who is always eager to learn. His hobbies include hiking and playing video games. During his time at Trimont College, Daniel played football throughout primary and secondary school. He has been playing tennis for over two years at Angelz Tennis Academy. With more than a year of coaching experience, Daniel has worked alongside Coach Jerimiah at Angelz Tennis Academy. Recently, he has also been assisting Coach Neil at Tennis Patrons and Coach Jean at Total Tennis Academy.
